Instead of Competition - dancers have the opportunity to create their own pieces and collaborate with dancers
On Saturday night, MTMI staff will assign groups to create their own artistic piece. Through this process, dancers get the chance to collaborate with other artists. This opens their eyes to networking, explore their choreography skills, allows them to grow in their artistic direction, and learn on camera skills.
Each group will be paired with a MTMI mentor to help guide and answer any questions dancers may have about the process.
This will be filmed and showcased at the end of the weekend.

Professional Headshots
Every dancer needs a series of photographs capturing their ability, range, and to truly stand out. Headshots are an essential part of the Industry; through auditions, casting, and marketing yourself as a dancer. MTMI's approach is to not only create photographs that will highlight your talent but also create pieces of art that anyone would be proud to have in their portfolio.
Headshot packages include:
2 edited headshots and 2 edited action dance shots provided by top professional Los Angeles Dance Photographer Matt Ficari on-site to capture your headshots for $189! ($550 value!)

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Students have the opportunity to receive half or full scholarships during the final showcase. We also offer a Grand Prize Scholarship which entails a round trip flight of your choice to either NYC or LA. You will receive a class card package to one of MTMI's favorite professional studios to continue training.

on camera classes
Our on camera classes are hosted by a different faculty member at every location and involve learning, setting, and filming choreography within two hours. Each has a creative concept behind it and the final product is always rewarding.

final showcase
The final showcase occurs at the end of the last day of intensive and serves as a way for friends and family to see what the dancers worked on all weekend! This showcase includes solo and group performances and the scholarship presentation.
